PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy applies to Tribal DDB Worldwide in respect of the
collection of personal information through the recruitment site at
www.tribalddb.com. Tribal DDB Worldwide is committed to keeping your personal
information in strict confidence and will ensure that such information is used
only for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy and in compliance with
the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Your consent
By your use of the Careers Website you consent to the collection, storage, use
and dissemination of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy
Policy.
Collection and use of personal information
The personal information that you provide to Tribal DDB Worldwide through the
Careers Site is collected solely for the purpose of recruitment by authorized
personnel of Tribal DDB Worldwide. The different recruitment purposes of
collection are described below.
Registration with MyTribalDDB
Registration with MyTribal DDB is an optional service which allows you to
create an online profile that can be used to apply for existing positions
within Tribal DDB, be notified via email of positions within Tribal DDB and
become part of an employee search database for use exclusively by Tribal DDB
Worldwide. Registration with MyTribal DDB on the Career Website requires you to
complete mandatory fields so that you can be identified and contacted by Tribal
DDB and any application/s that you submit can be properly considered.
Online applications may be for advertised positions, graduate program
applications, work experience applications, internship applications (together,
Online Applications).
You may make Online Applications without having your details viewable on the
MyTribal DDB database list. Making an online application requires you to
complete certain mandatory fields so that you can be identified and contacted
by Tribal DDB and any application/s that you submit can be properly considered.
Disclosure of information
Tribal DDB will not disclose your personal information to any party other than
as set out in this Privacy Policy. By registering with MyTribal DDB or by
making an Online Application, your personal information will become available
to authorized personnel within Tribal DDB who are involved in recruitment. As
part of the selection process, your personal details may be disclosed to
referees that you have nominated in your Online Application for verification.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is possible that Tribal DDB may need to
disclose personal information when required by law. Tribal DDB will disclose
such information when it has a good-faith belief that it is necessary to comply
with a court order, ongoing judicial proceeding, or other legal process served
on Tribal DDB or to exercise its legal rights or defend against legal claims.
Access to your personal information
If you wish to access or update your personal information held by Tribal DDB,
you may contact Tribal DDB (see below).
Accuracy of your personal information
All reasonable steps are taken by Tribal DDB to ensure that your personal
information held by Tribal DDB is accurate, complete and up to date. If you
believe that any of your personal information is inaccurate, please contact
Tribal DDB (see below) and Tribal DDB will use all reasonable endeavors to
correct it within 14 days.
Email Choice/Opt-out Procedures
Members who no longer wish to receive Tribal DDB’s email notifications may
opt-out of receiving these communications by amending their My Tribal DDB
profile refusing the option of being notified via e-mail when new jobs are
posted that match your criteria. Tribal DDB also gives you the option to remove
your personal information from the Tribal DDB Career Website completely. If you
no longer wish to take advantage of the Career Website or wish Tribal DDB to
delete your personal information from its records, contact Tribal DDB (see
below) to cancel your account.
Storage and security
Tribal DDB will use all reasonable endeavors to keep your personal information
in a secure environment to prevent unauthorized access, loss and misuse. [All
personal information is stored on secure servers which require password access.
All authorized personnel of Tribal DDB who have access to your personal
information are under an obligation to maintain the confidentiality of your
personal information.] Please note that no data transmission over the Internet
is 100% secure, nor are standard security devices and techniques infallible. As
a result, Tribal DDB cannot guarantee the security of the information that you
transmit to or via our online services. If you are a MyTribal DDB user, you
should ensure that the confidentiality of your login details is maintained to
ensure that your personal information remains secure at all times.
If you reasonably believe that there has been an unauthorized use or disclosure
of your personal information please contact Tribal DDB (see below).
Variation of Privacy Policy
Tribal DDB may decide to vary the terms of this Privacy Policy. You should
check this Privacy Policy regularly so that you are aware of any variations
that may be made.
Contacting TribalDDB
If you wish to access your personal information, make a complaint about an
unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information or wish to update
your details, please contact Tribal DDB Worldwide Privacy Officer, Kristin

Cookies
When you visit the Career Website the server may attach a "cookie" to your
computer's memory. A "cookie" assists Tribal DDB to store information on how
visitors to the Career Website use it and the pages that may be of most
interest. This information may be used to make assumptions about who uses your
computer and to provide users of your computer with information that Tribal DDB
thinks may interest the users of your computer. However, this information is
not linked to any personal information you may provide and cannot be used to
identify you. You should be able to configure your computer so that it disables
"cookies" or does not accept them.
Collection of statistical information
Tribal DDB may make a record of your use of the Career Website for statistical
purposes only. The statistical information that Tribal DDB collects is your
server address, the date and time of your visit, the pages accessed and
downloaded, the referring site and the type of browser. Unless required by law,
Tribal DDB will not disclose this statistical information to any third party.
Protection for Children
The Tribal DDB Career Website is not intended for users under the age of 18.
Furthermore, Tribal DDB has no intention of collecting personally identifiable
information from children (i.e., individuals under the age of 13). If a child
has provided Tribal DDB with personally identifiable information, that child’s
parent or legal guardian should contact Tribal DDB (see above), if they would
like the information submitted by the child deleted from the Tribal DDB
database. Tribal DDB will use all reasonable efforts to delete such information
from its database.
